Our goal is to provide mutual aid to the youth of the Rosebud Sicangu Lakota Reservation in South Dakota during Leonard Crow Dog’s Sundance-New Year Ceremony.
We are committed to breaking barriers and fostering hope, recognizing that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstance.
Through annual giveaways we equip Indigenous youth and young parents with essential back-to-school supplies, hygiene essentials and mutual aid. Our vision is to cultivate within out community to ensure our youth have the resources and support needed to excel academically, socially and beyond.
Generosity is one the 7 values of the Lakota people. Giveaway is a sacred right. When we pray. we pray for the 1 generations to come. We think about the most vulnerable in our communities all year long. Our Back2School Giveaway provides essential school supplies, hygiene kits and mutual aid support to students, young parents and families.
